Your journey begins in Ōtautahi / Christchurch, where you'll travel by bus to the historic city of Ōtepoti / Dunedin. The next day, you'll travel through Central Otago's rolling hills and gold mining on the Taieri Gorge Train before joining a coach to Tāhuna / Queenstown. From here, you’ll take a day trip to the magnificent Piopiotahi-Milford Sound, cruising on the fiord. Your adventure concludes as you travel from Queenstown back to Christchurch, with scenic stops at Aoraki / Mount Cook and the luminous blue waters of Takapō / Lake Tekapo.

Leaving Christchurch early, you will cross the vast Canterbury Plains as you head South, crossing many braided rivers that start their life as glacial melt water high in the Southern Alps.
