Sitting on the banks of the Tongariro River, near the shores of Lake Taupo, you will be surrounded by lush forest and lake scenery as you partake in the fantastic fishing or the many other water-based activities available. The nearby forest offers hiking, walking and mountain biking; from leisurely walks along the lake shore to more challenging hikes in the nearby Tongariro National Park, including the famous Tongariro Crossing.
