Hi Neisha. We’re back home now and slowly getting back into our home life. We wanted to thank you for your support and excellent service in our trip around South Island. Everything for our trip was organised perfectly!! I usually expect some challenges with bookings, something not communicated, systems failures, lost info, etc. But all was perfect! Amazing! We had such a good trip and timing was perfect. Managed to complete all our West Coast adventures in stunning weather and escaped just before the deluge and road closures. The accommodation you chose for us was, for the most part, terrific. The Christchurch accommodations were OK but all were small, poky and very basic motel rooms. Really appreciated you moving us to the Quest on Cambridge in Christchurch for our last few days in Christchurch. Terrific accommodation and a great base for touring the city. The Touring app was terrific. Had everything that we needed and constantly updated. Again, thank you so much for all your organising, Made our trip stress-free and easy. Thank you for your assistance and experience to help make my recent New Zealand self drive tour a enjoyable experience. I travelled the south and north island from tip to tow and experience the fantastic natural beauty of New Zealand along the way. Highlights from Milford Sound, the farmland and hedges, hot springs, cold water and views to enjoy combined with adventures like zip lines, jet boats or just chilling all with a high standard of accommodation. The Hire car experience from Eurocar was also trouble free and I would recommend this company. Jon you did a great job on our itinerary thank you. Everything went so smoothly. No hassles at all with our airport pick ups, car hire, checking into our accommodation and tour bookings. The itinerary was really well worked out and (once we worked out we needed to allow extra time for the ubiquitous roadworks) we got to where we wanted to be without rushing or being late. A wonderful trip 🤩

Fantastic journey beautifully put together by Mackenzie. Accommodation choices were great, and the addition of the journey to Mt Cook was an unexpected bonus. Well worth having a driver to meet you in unfamiliar cities to make the arrival so much easier ( especially after an overnight flight!). Would use again when we travel to New Zealand.

We enjoyed our trip very much. Great weather except for the last 2 days. Unfortunately, helicopter flight was cancelled. Everything was easy to manage. A bit of miscommunication with the Rental Car people, but thankfully resolved quickly. Things to note- Car parking at Milford Sound is not $25 for 5 hours. Unless there late afternoon. Jet boat ride- they do not offer splash coat. Life jacket only. Highlight for me was Paragliding in Queenstown. May have to do a tour of the North Island next.

Looking back on the trip to the South Island, it was pretty much perfect. Spending so many hours each day on a tour bus got to be a bit tough but I know it was the only way to see as much as I did and thank goodness, I wasn't doing the driving! So, I really can't and shouldn't complain about that! Queenstown was crowded and touristy so I was very happy to have my hotel on the outskirts. Everything was still in walking distance. The tour buses were all good, all on time and the drivers really made a big difference. Some spoke a lot, gave a lot of history and information of the area we were going through. Others not so much. As I think I mentioned, if I had to do it over again, I would have spent another day in the Franz Josef area and taken a day off in Queenstown to make up for it. But that in no way is your mistake or some omission on your part. Just what I liked once I was there and didn't have enough time to see much of. I think if I had spent some time online really looking at these places while you were setting up the tour, I might have caught it. The helicopter ride was a blast! So glad I did it. Hadn't been in one since I was 16 and had forgotten how much fun they are.

Everything went to plan as per our itinerary. Hire car was comfortable and spacious. Both the reps we met were very friendly and helpful. All the accommodation was comfortable - some of the apartments were fantastic and the overnight cruise to Doubtful Sound on the Milford Wanderer was superb. The app provided us with so much extra information which we found very useful. We would definitely recommend NZFT to others planning a trip to NZ.
